Events organized in Moldovan villages are an excellent opportunity to promote tourism and to get to know our traditions. During 2017, the PR-agency PARC Communications has provided communication support for a number of festivals included in the annual calendar of events of the national brand “Pomul Vietii”.
Task:
Develop branding and provide communication support for rural festivals, as well as conduct a full-scale communication campaign for the “DescOPERA” 2017 Festival.
Challenge:
The last few years, many cities and villages of Moldova have taken up the initiative to hold their own thematic festivals. However, the number of potential visitors to such festivals is growing slowly – it is necessary to find new approaches to promote these events.
Resolution:
For each of the festivals, the organizers emphasized the distinct traditions of their city or village. At the same time, they wanted to be as modern and interesting as possible for the youth audience. Based on this, the agency has developed graphic ideas for branding. For the promotion, emphasis was placed on engaging in the communication the influencers and journalists, especially those for whom this area is known.
