In the period 2014-2018, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova with the support of European Union implemented the program “Public Finance and Budget Responsibility”. PR agency PARC Communications organized in spring 2018 an event and a campaign for the project.
Develop a communication campaign “Public Finances for Your Easy Understanding” and organize an event that promotes the role of the Ministry of Finance in managing budget funds and supporting the European Union in carrying out public finance policy reforms in the Republic of Moldova.
In the Republic of Moldova, the topic of budget management is not interesting to the general public, the logic and terminology is difficult to understand and visualize.
The Agency has developed a creative concept of a communication campaign based on the involvement in the primary communication of one of the most interested audiences – students of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. For interactive communication, an association with a team game and a volleyball ball, which symbolizes team interaction, was proposed.
- The agency has developed a graphical package for communication campaigns, has prepared a brochure;
- The Agency produced a video spot with participation of youth and the Minister of Finance promoting the developed concept;
- The Agency organized an event that brought together public finance professionals and students of economics departments;
- The most active students received volleyball balls with the autographs of the Minister of Finance and EU Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, as a symbol of common efforts to ensure the effective management of public finances;
The event was actively covered by the press – more than 20 publications. The project of the Ministry of Finance received tools and materials for further communication on this topic.
