PARC Communications supported the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova in developing and implementing a public awareness campaign about the online platform client.chamber.md. The project was implemented with the financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) within the project “Optimal opportunities through technology and innovation in Moldova”, implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.
Task:
Increase visibility and ensure that businesses and other stakeholders are aware of the benefits and advantages of using CCI’s online services.
Challenge:
Despite the growing trend toward digitalization, businesses, and especially responsible managers, preferred to retain the familiar model of work that had been in place for decades.
Resolution:
The agency developed and conducted a comprehensive campaign to inform the target audience about the digitization of services offered by the CCI. To develop the content, a survey of entrepreneurs was conducted to identify the most important benefits of online services. These advantages became the basis of infographics for promotion in mass media, social networks and regional TV in video format.
Another area was the promotion of “success stories” of businesses that had already switched to the CCI online platform. Graphic cards were developed for social networks, and quotes from the management of these enterprises were included in articles and video reports in the mass media.
In the second stage of the campaign, about 100 economic agents received free electronic signatures, which served as an additional motivation to switch to the CCI online platform. At this stage, interim results were summed up and further objectives for the digital transformation of the services of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova were publicly outlined.
Result:
– The number of beneficiaries of CCI online services has grown.
– The digital transformation of the service and CCI activities received additional attention and participation from the business community, society and the media.
– The CCI received content and tools to further promote services in direct communication and online seminars.
