The NGO Fair has brought together over 40 of the most active non-governmental organizations in different regions of the country, who have informed the public about their achievements and volunteering opportunities and support through the 2% percentage designation mechanism. The event took place on June 9th in the “Stefan cel Mare” Public Garden in Chisinau and marked the completion of the program of grants under the Partnership for a Sustainable Civil Society in Moldova (MPSCS), implemented by FHI 360 and funded by the USA Agency for International Development (USAID).
Visitors of the fair had the opportunity to attend workshops and master classes, social experiments, exhibitions of handicraft items made by people with special needs, first aid demonstrations and other interactive activities. Moldovan artists Aura, Cornelia and Marcel Ştefăneţ, as well as “7KLASE” and “Cuibul” bands played on stage with a special program.
As part of a large communications campaign, PARC Communications organized three flash mobs in support of the 2% mechanism in Chisinau, Balti and Cahul, as well as a number of activities for press, a series of success stories of NGOs on TV, etc.
