The Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria has implemented an integrated communication campaign to promote Bulgaria as an attractive tourist destination to target markets in neighboring countries, including the Republic of Moldova.
The project included two waves of outdoor advertising in key locations in Chisinau, an online banner campaign, a social media campaign, and two press tours in the summer of 2021. During the summer season, journalists and bloggers from Moldova had the opportunity to explore the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and its surroundings and were able to see the sights in the heart of the country. They visited various tourist sites, historical monuments and finally tasted the irresistible traditional Bulgarian cuisine.
On September 7, within the communication campaign of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, Chisinau hosted an informational and cultural event with travel agencies, mass media representatives, media people, and bloggers as guests. During the event, the guests had the opportunity to learn about the various tourist opportunities in Bulgaria, discuss the best practices in the field of tourism, and enjoy the Bulgarian spirit and folklore, presented by the Bulgarian Song and Dance Ensemble “Rodoliubie” (Taraclia).
