To reduce the impact of the COVID- 19 crisis on small and medium-sized businesses, PARC Communication specialists provided support and strengthened the general communication matters of the Organization of Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM), under a contract with GIZ Moldova.
Task:
To inform SMEs on the importance of business digitization, during the COVID-19 crisis, in order to raise their awareness of the benefits and stages of this process.
Challenge:
Against the backdrop of restrictions imposed by COVID-19, both SMEs and consumers were motivated to digitize the promotion and purchase of products, but stereotypes did not allow this transition to be effective.
Resolution:
The agency developed a strategic communication plan and a creative concept, proposing two communication lines – SMEs and consumers, united by the same purpose, which motivate everyone to change their attention and thinking towards the possibilities and benefits of the digital environment. “Gândește digital – Dezvoltă-ți o afacere inteligentă!” and “Gândește digital – Cumpără online local!” The logo and visual identity were developed and was offered support to ODIMM communication activities:
- A series of visual materials were developed in order to promote the Digitalization of SMEs in social networks and media;
- A series of success stories of local businesses that have managed to adapt to the new market conditions, as well as those that have managed to maintain and improve their position through e-commerce were elaborated;
- A series of online workshops were organized for the ODIMM team, aimed at further training and consolidating the efforts of SMEs in the field of digitalization;
- A communication campaign was developed to promote the consumption of local products using e-commerce platforms and tools.
